Because of the national and public significance of the natural history collections at Tel Aviv University, we thought they should operate under the auspices of a Scientific and Public Council that comprises leaders in science, culture, tourism, agriculture, education, literature, and others. Many of the members have already been involved in the project's development in the past decade and have made highly significant contributions in their respective fields to the scientific and public development of the collections.
